Throughout history, humans have held an insatiable urge to manipulate the natural world, and this desire persists today. Recently, a Reddit user known as Macilento set out to use a neural network to crossbreed various species of animals without limitations. Insects with mammals, marine life with terrestrial creatures, and even predators with herbivores were all fair game. The results of this experiment yielded a menagerie of wondrous and unusual creatures.
A hybrid of an armadillo and a hare. With such armour, predators are not afraid.
A hybrid of a gecko and an eagle. And that, we got a little flying gecko.
Ant-kangaroo hybrid. Small and high-jumping nightmare.
A hybrid of a giraffe and a turtle. Long neck, carapace on the back and elegant slowness.
A hybrid of a bear and an owl. Don’t be fooled by her adorable fluffiness! Most likely, this is a formidable nocturnal predator.
A hybrid of a peacock and a porcupine. And you haven’t seen him with a loose tail yet!
A hybrid of a camel and a toucan. The owner of a luxurious beak and the ability to do without water for a long time.
A mixture of deer and jaguar. Here it is – a really fast beast.
Hyena and bat hybrid. He giggles loudly and flies high.
A hybrid of a wolf and a hare. The predator and its prey are now one animal. The circle is closed.
Charming hybrid of a fox and a hamster. Surely someone would want to keep such a house as a pet.
A hybrid of a wild pig and a gorilla. Charmingly round and certainly a very strong creature.
A hybrid of a bee and an eagle. Let’s hope it’s the size of a bee.
Hybrid cat and dog. Just look at that muzzle in the background.
A hybrid of a toad and a hawk. Jumpy and flying.
A hybrid of a lobster and a shark. Apparently, a dangerous creature.
A hybrid of buffalo and squid.
